As a cocktail waitress at Fallsview Casino Resort, Jorja has been witness to some brow-raising moments. But she’s never been part of one until a hot-as hell patron in her section pulls her into his lap and kisses her senseless. Talk about a generous tipper. Lady luck has smiled on her indeed. What was supposed to be a weekend of harmless gambling takes a dramatic turn when Kian’s wolf scents his would-be mate. Consuming her lips as if his life depends on it in the middle of a crowded casino is bad enough—but giving in to his mating urge and claiming her before she knows his true nature is nothing short of a disaster. And when a fellow pack member shows up and lets the wolf out of the bag, Kian is forced to admit not only who and what he is, but what he did. He may need more than luck to pull this one off.

I took a chance on this book. The setting is not too far from my neck of the woods & I'm in a werewolf kind of mood. It's a short story - def not the size of a full length book. A lot of negative reviews complained about the size for the price. It cost about $4 for my Kindle. Yeah, for the size it could have been a tad cheaper, but the quality was there. I was happy w/ my purchase. It was exactly what I expected & wanted - low on conflict, nice brain candy werewolf fluff. I do think that this series could work if the author ever decided to make the series w/ full length size stories, but whatevah. :) I will check out others by this author & others in this series.Product details

A Werewolf at the Falls Big City Pack Book Two eBook Marisa Chenery Reviews
I have long been a fan of MC and have to say this very canned story was a let down in every way. don't waste your $ or time on this. Marisa I know you can do soooo much better!
i thought this author was a sure thing based on her previous books but this very short...expensive....story was quite a disappointment.
Jorja had no clue when she went to work at a casino where she was a waitress that this night would be anything other than an ordinary night. However, it became very apparent when she delivered her first round of drinks to a table and was suddenly grabbed and kissed by the dark haired, sexy man sitting there. What a way to begin a night of delivering drinks!
Kian came to the casino with a pack buddy intending to gamble and have a good time over the weekend. That is until he was suddenly struck by the intense emotion and scent of the waitress delivering his drink. Kian only knows that this woman is his and he's just drunk enough to act on his desires. As soon as she leaves his lap, he decide to find out who she is and how soon he can be with her.
Jorja ends up with a night of passion with Kian but when morning breaks she thinks he might regret it and makes sure to leave before Kian wakes up. When Kian wakes, he realizes that he mated the night before and now she's gone. This isn't quite how Kian imagined meeting and mating with his mate, now he must find Jorja so that he can tell her what happened, and hopefully convince her to leave with him before the weekend is over. Jorja isn't sure about this sudden passionate need she feels for Kian, yet it feels so natural. The next two days will be a whirlwind of passion and learning about each other, but the question is, when Jorja learns of Kian's biggest secret will she be able to accept it and what it means to her?
One night of unexpected passion leads to a world of discovery and maybe love to last the ages. A Werewolf at the Falls proved to me that even when love is sudden, it can be lasting. Neither Jorja nor Kian expected the instant passion and lust between them when they met but both more than willing to let the fireworks happen, and then learn about each other. I could honestly feel for Kian when he realized he mated with Jorja and then worked so hard to show her who he really was. Jorja had more to accept in this situation than Kian but she was more than up to the challenge. I loved watching as they both fell into passion, and then into love, and how they were able to discover a pathway that would give them a future of love with one another. A Werewolf at the Falls takes erotic passion and sprinkles in humor for a story that is one sexy and fun read.

Sometimes a reader has a yen for a cute, short but hot story to while away the afternoon and A Werewolf at the Falls delivers just that.
I like a story with growly heroes and Kian has both a lusty growl and an aggressive one for defense. He covers all the bases because he has to. He has found the mate of his dreams, but he's got some explaining to do and the poor guy isn't sure how to do it. That's half the fun because he flubs it so bad.
Jorja is the heroine who has to come to terms with the fact that werewolves not only exist but one has his sights set on her. What's a girl to do when the man in question gives her the best sheet action she's ever had? Run. And, try to figure out just what is so great about being the girlfriend of a guy that goes furry. I liked her logical thinking and it actually made the happily ever after quite plausible.
The conflict is internal and the story is character driven. It's a story of worlds colliding and passions out of control. Ms. Chenery certainly gives readers an eyeful when Kian has his way with Jorja, and his manly action should leave readers as satisfied as he left Jorja, over and over. Lucky lady.
Kian's buddy, Soren, is a nice sidekick. His focus on gambling was bit too intense for me; I would have gotten bored ages ago but the author used it as a convenient diversion so the action could stay focused on Kian and Jorja. The author did provide enough of a hint and details to lead me to believe that another guy is going to feel the wolf bite of love soon. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
The author threw in a quick character curve ball to get the action going in the direction she wanted it to. It was a bit pat, but it worked and the plot resolved soon after with an interesting display of a man making a goofy decision in times of crisis. Good thing the heroine has a working brain.
A Werewolf at the Falls is a relaxing and entertaining short story that has a passionate, sweet yet erotic flavor that should appeal to paranormal romance readers looking for a uplifting happily ever after. I enjoyed reading this tale and I'm looking forward to seeing just what kind of woman ensnares Kian's best friend, Soren. I hope it's as fun as this book.

Love reading this book.
I enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend reading it to any kindle owner that likes these kinds of stories.
After reading the story summary it sounded like a good plpt. Personally, I thought the writing was elementary, the plot so-so and the characters 2 demensional. To me the short story wasn't worth the price and I wouldn't recommend it. Sorry.
